11 Website Paid You Money (Easy way to make money online)

December 07, 2017 Posted by Khmer Buzz No comments
To do this job from home, you will need to be internet savvy and speak fluent English. You will also need some basic equipment like a computer with a microphone, broadband internet connection, and an updated web browser. Most tests take between 5 – 25 minutes to complete and pay an average of $10 per test.
If you’d like to work from home testing websites, here are 11 sites to check out.

Earn $10/$15 for 20 minutes of work. To become a tester – submit your email address and apply. Testers must take a sample test before receiving any assignments. This gig is open to the US and International residents alike who can receive payments via PayPal. Each test takes about 15 – 20 minutes.
o    User Testing is open to global residents who have an active PayPal account.
Make money by testing out websites. To enroll in the program submit your email address, password, and pick your preferred method of testing (desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone). Once you’re fully registered, you’ll receive emails when assignments are ready for you. Assignments vary in nature, as does the pay. I did one job that took less than a minute, and it paid .10 cents. Payments are made via PayPal.
o    Open to global residents who have an active PayPal account.
Earn money by answering questions about startup websites. Each company provides their website and assigns tasks that they would like you to complete and provide answers for. After you complete the assignment, you’ll share your thoughts in a written response. Each completed test pays $5.00, and payments are made weekly via PayPal.
Earn up to € 50 per study. Each study is conducted via Skype and usually takes 30 – 90 minutes of time. Once the study is completed, you'll get paid within 5 – 10 days via PayPal. Testing Time is open to global residents who have an internet connection, and Skype installed on a computer.
o    TestingTime is open to global residents who have an active PayPal account.
Earn $10 for 15 – 20 minutes of your time. To become part of the TryMyUI team first, sign up for an account. Next, you’ll need to take and pass a qualification test. The qualification test is a sample test that shows you understand the process and requirements. After you qualify, you’ll be sent test opportunities via email. Payments are made biweekly via PayPal.
Get paid $10 for providing your thoughts on various websites. To become a website tester, register for an account, and take a sample test. Once your sample is approved, you’ll start getting assignments by email. Payments are made via PayPal at the end of each week.
Make money for providing feedback on websites, applications, prototypes, concepts and more. To apply, register for an account, and then wait for an invite to complete an assignment. Once you've completed your assignment, you’ll be paid $10 per task via PayPal.
UserZoom is a company that conducts website usability tests for desktop and mobile platforms. Tests pay an average $5 to $10 depending on the complexity of the study. Most tests take between 10 to 20 minutes to complete, and payments are made via PayPal 10 to 14 business days after the completion of the study.
Validately hires testers to complete mobile and website tests for companies. Compensation varies: Complete a 5-minute test and get paid $5 bucks. Live tests where you speak via phone and share a screen with a moderator, pay a minimum of $25 for 30 minutes. Payments are made via PayPal within five business days of the test.
Get paid to give feedback on clients' websites. To get started, fill out the application and take a sample test. Once you’ve been approved, you'll receive assignments via email. Each test takes about 20 minutes to complete and pays 8 £ or around $12.50 US dollars. Payments are made via PayPal on the 25th day of each month.
o    WhatUsersDo is open to global residents who have an active PayPal account.
uTest hires independent contractors for quality assurance testing for various software and hardware. According to their job posting on Dice, their customers includes brands like Google, Amazon, Netflix, and more. To get started, fill out their online application (takes approximately 10 minutes), take an audition test to showcase your tech skills, then wait for assignments to be sent to you via email. I wasn't able to find out how much testers are paid, but the job listing on Dice says, “In 2016 alone, we paid out over $20 million to QA testers worldwide.”
o    uTest is open to global residents
Now if you’re anything like me, you’re multiplying how many tests you can complete in an hour and how much you’re going to make. But hold your horses! These opportunities are extremely popular! Statistically, there are fewer customers than testers, so don’t expect to be completing three tests every hour on the hour.

How To Keep Your Dream Alive

December 07, 2017 Posted by Khmer Buzz No comments
1.    Articulate your dream again. (If you have not already made a plan for it, read How to Make Your Dreams Come True). Forget about your plan, or how much effort has already been put into it. What exactly is it that you want? Is it a general idea, like knowledge, or is it something specific, such as making a candy shop? Understand what you want, otherwise you may realize you don't want this dream, or even worse, realize you don't want it after you've succeeded in making it true.

2.    Create reminders. Think about your original motivation often. Besides obvious factors that will come along when your dream is realized, think about other reasons. Who are you doing this dream for? Remind yourself often of your plan. Physical symbols always help - posting up pictures of the end result, buying items that symbolize your goals.

3.    Express your dream frequently. Whisper your dream through moonlight. Shout it on a busy highway. Write it on a balloon and set it free. Write it on paper boats and float them in the ocean. Write it as a message on a bottle and float that into the ocean. Explore and try different ways of different cultures of making wishes come true, small or big: paper cranes, shooting stars, 11:11. Tell your pet if you have one. Tell it to all the people you care about in your life.

4.    Create deadlines and punishments. For every step along the way, think of a realistic deadline. If too small, eventually you will be crashed with all the work you need and possibly never do it. If too large, you will probably forget about it. Punishments are necessary. They can be keeping yourself away from your favorite activities: depriving yourself of sex is always a good option! Get a friend or family member to enforce this punishment.

5.    Keep your life. Do not forget about friends, family, work, and especially yourself! Keep contact with friends and family: over the internet, visit them, write to them. Try not start skipping work to work on your dream. Keep your brain, body, and soul in good shape at all times. Sleep often, read often, and enjoy life.

6.    Do not overlook life's small joys while searching for the big ones. Look at the sky often. Think about memories. Take some time off to travel, take a picnic, and enjoy some hobbies. Help, give, and care about other people. Eat delicious things, go to concerts, literally smell the roses. Always consider: are you happy?

7.    Brainstorm ideas for your dream. Mind mapping (essentially creative concept mapping) is the ideal way to brainstorm. Any creative outlet will do just fine to find some creative ideas for your dream, especially writing or drawing. Any sort of art, even singing, playing music, and photography, wood-carving can work. Buy a journal or two. Find inspiration.

8.    Be inspired. Read, read, and read about anything and everything about your dream. Aim to take a trip to your library every week. Go to events pertaining to your dream. Talk to people who have accomplished your dream. Watch thought-provoking shows or movies (Code Geass is highly recommended). Find new ways of looking at the world. If your dream is creating a place, go to existing places and note its positive and negative attributes.

How to Remember Things You Study Better

December 07, 2017 Posted by Khmer Buzz No comments

1.   Get plenty of sleep. The first thing you should do is make sure that you’re sleeping properly. When you don’t get enough sleep, your brain doesn’t work as well and all the studying in the world isn’t going to make a difference. You’ll have to put the parties and hanging out aside for a while until you feel better about your studying.
·         New scientific studies have shown that when we sleep, our body goes through a sort of cleaning cycle where our brains get flushed of all the bad stuff that shouldn’t be there. When you don’t get enough sleep, this bad stuff builds up and makes your brain work a lot worse.
·         Some people need eight hours of sleep, but some people only need six while others may need nine or more. Everyone’s body is different, so experiment to see how you feel.

2.    Eat balanced meals. Eating a healthy, balanced diet is also important. Your body needs lots of different nutrients in order to work right and when you don’t have those nutrients, it can be hard to focus and absorb information. Eating balanced meals doesn’t just mean eating a lot of kale (although kale is really good for you). It mostly means making sure that you is eating a lot of different foods in healthy proportions. You have to adjust for your particular lifestyle, but a good balance to start with is:
·         30% vegetables. Lean towards dark greens like kale, chard, spinach, and broccoli, since these have more nutrients in them.
·         20% fruits. Try to choose nutrient-rich fruits, like citrus fruits and kiwi, or fruits which are high in fiber, like apples, pears, and bananas.
·         30% whole grains. Choose nutrient-rich grains like brown rice, quinoa, and oatmeal, and look for whole grain products whenever you do eat any grain.
·         20% protein. Try to choose lean proteins when you eat meat (turkey, chicken, and fish) and complete proteins when you eat other protein-rich foods (you’ll need to mix foods like nuts, lentils, and beans to get a complete protein, or eat whole soybeans like soy nuts and edamame).
·         Limit your dairy intake. Most nutrients that you get from dairy products you can get just as easily from other sources. Dairy products tend to be very fatty, so when you do eat them, choose low-fat versions. You’ll want to be sure you get enough calcium, though, so eat calcium rich foods like kale, collard greens, and sardines.

3.    Drink plenty of water. You probably know that your body is made up mostly of water, so you’re probably not surprised to hear that getting enough water will be very important for helping you focus. Dehydration will give you problems focusing and if you can’t focus, then you’re going to have a really hard time remembering.
·         A good rule of thumb is that you’ll know you’ve had enough water when your urine comes out pale or occasionally clear. Eight 8 oz glasses a day is what everyone says, but it's not actually good for you. Too much water can cause serious and sometimes fatal conditions, like water intoxication, or hyperglycemia. Have a bottle of water with you, but don't drink too much. Only drink when you're thirsty.

4.    Wear comfortable clothing. When you study, do what you can to wear clothes that are comfortable. This will let you focus all of your attention on your work, rather than breaking your focus to worry about heat, cold, or your pants pinching you in that spot you don’t want to talk about.

5.    Use caffeine carefully. Coffee, 5 Hour Energy, Red Bull….whatever your poison is, be careful when you pick it. Caffeine does help you study...but only if you drink it after studying. If taken before you study, it can make you too jittery to focus properly. Caffeine also has lots of other downsides, so try not to rely on caffeine in general.
·         Negative side effects of caffeine include caffeine addiction, headaches, dehydration, fatigue, anxiety, and disruption of your sleep cycle.

How to Manifest Your Destiny: They Way to Set Up Your Dream

September 28, 2017 Posted by Khmer Buzz No comments

Mental Notes On How To Manifest Your Destiny!

At this point I’m sure I’ve got you convinced. You deserve the job of your dreams. In order to approach these opportunities and make them a reality, there are three components to keep in mind:

1. Display expectations for yourself, and the company

Check out resources such as LinkedIn to research the expectations for the job you are pitching for. Research the job descriptions for a grade or two above your skill set. See what goals you need to work towards and which skills you need to improve.
Explain the progression you would like to see in yourself, and how your progression will benefit the future of the company. Self-reflection is very important to employers, so be transparent about which skills you need to improve upon that can also improve the company.

2. Understand competitions the company is facing

In order to understand what the company needs, you need to know what they’re competition is doing. Is it working for them? Could you advance those ideas and make them your own?
Show them that you know which issues they are facing, and suggest strategies to solve these issues. Offer your skills and explain how they will give them a new edge in this growing market.

3. Don’t just tell them what you can do, show them.

Prepare a portfolio of your previous projects to show off your capabilities and experience. After explaining what you have done, tell them your plans for the future. What are you doing to enhance your skills? What could have been improved in previous projects?

If you show that you are actively improving your skill set, prospective employers can expect that your skills will improve their business plan.

Break Up Your Bad Habits

September 26, 2017 Posted by Khmer Buzz No comments

How to Break up With Bad Habits

Here are three proven steps to get over bad habits once and for all.

1. Take your mind away.

After you’ve made up your mind to quit, and you’ve found your alternative, commit to quitting your bad habits by going mindless every time a bad habit trigger appears.5 Committing to change means that you can’t make excuses and you can’t give yourself any room to convince yourself why you can just skip it once. Don’t think whether you should do the bad habit or not, just don’t do it no matter what.
For example, if you want to eliminate your incessant slouching at work, you have to tell yourself that you aren’t going to slouch while you’re working no matter what. Just stick to sitting up straight, no excuses on why you can slouch for a while.

2. Be super aware whether you have done the bad habit every day.

Write down how things are going with your commitment. It’s easy to lose track of progress if you don’t make a note of your behaviors.
You are bound to slip up when you are turning over a new leaf. Writing down your behaviors might reveal patterns related to these moments of weakness. If you can spot the pattern, you may be able to disrupt it.

3. Have a strict reward and punishment system.

Reward yourself when you stick with your commitment. Maybe you will allow yourself to take a five-minute dance break or eat a cookie with your lunch in exchange for not mindlessly chomping on snacks at your desk. Your reward doesn’t have to be costly, but it should be valuable to you. The only stipulation is that you can’t reward your good behavior with the bad habit.
Designate a consequence for engaging in the negative habit. The consequence doesn’t need to be emotionally damaging. It just needs to cause enough discomfort or inconvenience to make you think twice about falling into old patterns.
People have been doing this for decades with the “swear jar.” Every time they say a bad word, they have to sacrifice money to the jar. You could come up with your own version of the swear jar or find some other consequence that will motivate you to stay on the proper path. Maybe every day that you snack on candy at your desk, you have to take your friend out to a healthy lunch. Having to incur this extra cost and effort will keep you accountable.

Your system of rewards and consequences are transactions that can help you eliminate your bad habits and automate the good ones.

Main Reason Why Freelances Need To Become Subject Matter Experts

September 16, 2017 Posted by Khmer Buzz No comments
In previous blogs, we’ve talked about branding yourself as a freelancer. I’ve also briefly mentioned how freelancers need to start seeing themselves as experts in a specific area. In this article, we’re really going to dive deep into why that is.
Before we address the many reasons why freelancers need to become subject matter experts, it’s important to address a common fear. Despite the fact that we know specializing in a given area leads to more success, many freelancers are afraid of pigeon holing themselves. The real pigeon holing happens when you don’t find your area of expertise. This leads to the worst pigeon hole of all: no one knowing what it is you actually do. If no one knows what you do, you may have a difficult time growing your business.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s dive into exactly why freelancers need to focus on becoming subject matter experts.

People Get What You Do

This was briefly mentioned, but it’s worth diving a little deeper. Everyone who is starting a business always fears the “What do you do question?” I know I did. This was especially true in the beginning before I realized I was a finance and business expert.
When trying to answer this question, I always fumbled my words because I didn’t exactly know how to explain what I did. It sounded like “I’m a writer and coach and I (insert mumbling and tongue-tied sentences here).” This led to a confusing message and people not really knowing what I could do for them.
Now as soon as I say “I’m a financial blogger and consultant” people know exactly what it is that I’m about. There is no confusion. In fact, they usually want to set up a meeting to discuss possible work opportunities. This leads me to my next point…

You Make More Money

Having a specialty leads to more money. Period. Point blank. Not only can you get paid more for services like freelance writing, you can also build other streams of income.
Just take a look around the internet and you’ll see that many freelancers who are considered subject matter experts don’t just write for a living. These guys also consult, get hired by companies for sponsorship deals, teach classes and a whole lot more.
We’ve already discussed how building multiple streams of income can help you diversify, ride out bumps and build wealth over time. Turns out that becoming a subject matter expert can help you do all of these things more easily.

Media Is Drawn to You

I often get asked how businesses can get more free PR and online press. The answer is simple: become a subject matter expert.
Journalists and writers for large publications are always looking for people to quote in their stories. By becoming a subject matter expert you can help them do their jobs while also helping yourself to get some press.

How to Become a Subject Matter Expert

Once someone realizes how important it is to become a subject matter expert, the next question becomes how they actually do this.
The easiest way is to just put out good quality content in your given area of expertise through blogs and social media channels. You may also want to start sticking to a specific area when getting clients. Finally, try connecting and collaborating with other people in your area or industry.
Eventually, people will start giving you referrals, prospective clients will come your way and media will be attracted to you like bees to honey.

Final Thoughts

Becoming a subject matter expert is paramount if you want to grow your business as a freelancer. Instead of pigeon holing yourself, you actually end up opening yourself up to more opportunity than you would have thought was possible.

Make Some Money By Using Your Skill or Hobbies

September 16, 2017 Posted by Khmer Buzz No comments

Cash in On Your Skills or Hobbies

Most of us are skilled and experienced at something – or have an interest in another area, that we don’t usually get paid to do. If that’s the situation, you can finally put your talents or hobbies to work if you need some additional dough. You may be a wiz at the computer and feel that everyone knows what you know. Picture grandma. Hundreds of grandma’s are sitting in their homes wondering how to dot an i on their new computer and these people and many others like them are willing to pay for help to learn the how-to’s.

1. Launch a Blog

No matter your interest or talent, you can write on about it on your blog and make money by selling ads.

2. eBook Publishing

Another way to make extra cash through your writing is to publish eBooks in either your field of expertise or whatever you’re passionate about. This goes back to #6 and you can often combine a blog and ebook, by taking all of your blogs on a certain subject and making an ebook from them.

3. Coaching or Consulting

If writing isn’t your cup of tea, you can offer your services to individuals or businesses either in person or via Skype or Google Hangouts. Some people just need someone to help push them forward. You can be this person.

4. Public Speaking

If you have an inspiring story or if you have the ability to motivate others while sharing your knowledge, public speaking is a lucrative side business where you could make anywhere from a couple of hundred to a couple of thousand dollars per gig.

5. Photography

Do you have an eye for capturing moments? Put those skills to work and start a side gig as a photographer. Instead of trying to be a jack-of-all-trades, focus on a niche like weddings. How about first day of school photos, holiday, or class reunion photo how to’s (this could include the explanation of what will makes the best memories, and how to up load to those attending).

6. Sell Pictures

Another way to make cash from photography is to sell your images to sites like Shutterstock. If you are artistic and unique with your photography in any way, Shutterstock (and others) will be interested in your pictures.

7. Become a Gym Instructor

Whether you’re trained as a personal trainer, yoga instructor, or weight lifter, you can find some part time work at the local gym. Again, some people just need someone with them to push or encourage them to continue their workout.

8. Become Umpire/Refer

One Ump told Business Insider, “I umpire softball/baseball games for USSSA. There’s also Little League, ASA, and others. I make $30 for an hour-and-10-minute game. Ten games in a weekend, and that’s $300. You can also maybe pick some games up after work. It’s not so bad if you, “don’t mind a little yapping in your ear.”

9. Caddie

Love golf and being outside? Caddie on the side. You’d be surprised at how much money you’ll be able to rake-in. A good caddie is hard to find. Some golf courses make you sign up for this job. Check it out in the pro-shop.

10. DJ Events

If you’re a music lover and have the gear, charge people for your deejaying services.

11. Run a Photo Booth

Unlike photography, you don’t need a whole lot of experience in running a photo booth. Once you get the basics, it’s pretty easy and you can pocket around $1,000 per weekend if you work a couple of events. Be easy to work with, take the shots people dream up, chat up the people, and enjoy yourself. You’ll have all the work you can stand.

12. Become a Session Musician

Talented musicians can sit-in during concerts or recording sessions and actually get paid for their talent. Many places need rehearsal pianists and the like. Be willing to go early and stay late.

13. Write Music

You can offer to write and record music on sites like, Fiverr and Craigslist. Or write and record something for YouTube. Nowadays, many have become famous doing this.

14. Woodworking

You can turn this hobby into a nice little side business by selling your crafts on sites like Etsy or at local flea markets. Keep your ears open to what people are looking for and make what people want.

15. Scrapbooking

Here’s another creative hobby that you can start cashing in on. Chron.com has a simple step-by-by guides to getting this business started. Google scrapbook and see what comes up. Some people want something particular, and others don’t care and you can do what you want. Scrapbooking can be a great creative outlet.

16. Cater

If you’re an excellent cook then you should start catering events on the side. Here are a few tips to getting paid along the way. You may want to sign up and work for a busy caterer for a while. This is a tough business, and you may need help. But small specialty parties like a baby shower, wedding shower, graduation party, etc., are a little more manageable.

17. Bake

If you’re a better baker than chef, then start selling your baked goods, such as birthday or wedding cakes, during your spare time. I had a neighbor who sold three things. Homemade bread. Homemade breadsticks, and cinnamon rolls. That’s it. She made a ton of money. All a person had to do was call her early in the morning for their order. This woman was able to stay home and raise 4 kids in style with this business.

18. Movie or TV Extra

If there’s a major network or studio production in your town, you may be able to bring in a quick $200 per day just by being an extra.

19. Watch TV

If you’re a TV junkie who binge watches their favorite TV show, then you may be able to start earning some extra money. You can download the Viggle App, which doesn’t pay much, or become a Netflix ‘tagger,’ which has only launched in the UK and Ireland, so far, but watch for it to be in other countries soon.

20. Create or Edit Videos

If you have the talent and equipment, you can either start creating your own YouTube videos or editing them for others.

21. Draw Caricatures

Artists can sell caricatures at fairs or local parks. Be sure to get a business license draw at the park in most cities.

22. Make Jewelry

There’s a demand for handmade jewelry on sites like, Etsy. Also many local spas, resorts, and even hair salons like to sell great jewelry. To get started you could start by selling on consignment until they see your worth.

23. Knit or Crochet

There’s also a market for handmade knit items on Etsy. Baby items such as a shawl, or blanket sell very well. Even knitted baby clothing sells. Listen around your office for someone who has a special person coming in their life.

24. Build Websites

You don’t necessarily have to be an expert at web design or development, although that does help, to build simple websites for individuals and small businesses. You might be able to fetch $100 per site.

25. Build an App

If you love to code and have an awesome idea for an app, then you can absolutely cash-in on you app.

26. Social Media Manager

If you’re social media wiz, then start charging individuals and small businesses to manage their social media accounts.

27. Repair Computers

If you love to fix computers, or even the latest, start a little repair business during your downtown. Half the time the computer just needs to be unplugged for a while

28. Auto Repair

Whether it’s changing oil or repainting a vehicle, use your talents and garage as a new side gig. There is also the gig of, “I will take your car while you are at work and get it cleaned inside and out.” Ditto for the pick-up and change the oil, gig.

29. Tutor

If you’re proficient in subjects like math, science, English, history, or pretty much any other subject, then start tutoring after work or on the weekends. Parents are overwhelmed and need help in this area. Start looking in your own neighborhood first.

30. Teach English

There are plenty of people from around the world looking to learn English as a second language. You help them out on a part time basis. Most people only need to have you sit and speak with them or go for a walk and speak.

31. Install Software

If you have a knack for installing software, then reach out to local businesses who need someone to do this this task for them. Many cities or chamber-of- commerce’s look for these types of part-time help.

32. Bookkeeping

This isn’t the most exciting side gig, but there a plenty of businesses and individuals who could use someone to keep their paperwork in order.

33. Tax Preparation

Everyone could use a little assistance when preparing their taxes so that they can claim the right deductions and have filed in-time. (note: make sure to file a 1099 when you do this.) Some professional tax company’s need seasonal help when they are in tax season.

34. Office or Home Organization

Both busy business and home owners could hire someone to come-in and organize their office or home. Some owners do not want their regular employees to see how messy they have let things get and they will hire you.

35. Interior Design

If you have an eye for design, then spend your weekends decorating the homes of people in your neighborhood. Watch for ideas and get a portfolio of ideas made now so you are ready to spring into action when you see this opportunity.

36. Event Planning

If you’re organized and enjoy making plans, then start charging others to plan out the events that they don’t want to, or don’t have time to plan and accomplish. You can plan and carry out office events, mixers, and marketing events – especially on a smaller scale. It may be advisable to work under a larger planner for a while to get the hang of this job if you have not done it before. Many planners are on contract and not part of company’s, and this is just the situation you want. If you can design, have catering people you know, or can think up clever things to entertain – you are on your way.

37. Build Furniture

Handmade furniture is another craft that is in-demand especially with the millennials. Millennials are not going to be denied anything of great value. You can sell your work online with a website, on  Etsy, at flea markets, or maybe even a local furniture store.

38. Personal Shopper

Not everyone enjoys shopping. But, if you’re a shopaholic, then take advantage of this and become a personal shopper for those who don’t like to shop, or who don’t have the time to shop. Busy executives are prime people to look at for this business. Notice the businesses which have recently popped up using this idea. Many people don’t want a business person, per se to do this work, they want someone who will become their friend.
